Dear friends,
Thank you for your prayers, help and love.
We were just in Karen State, Burma at White Monkey Camp, our main training base and home of the Jungle School of Medicine (JSMK). The ethnic leadership team there are doing a wonderful job and appreciate all of you who help them. They asked us to thank you for all you do to help them help others.
While we were there we prayed together, checked up on the clinic, patients, medical school and students, horses, generators, equipment, fish ponds and made plans for the coming months,. We watched in gratitude as the medics with their students, treated patients and performed two successful operations. The grateful look of the father of the 4 year old patient La Krit Moo ( Moon Living Christ), moved our hearts.
Our pack animals are doing ok but one new born foal needs help and prayer as her mother died and she is very thin. The team is doing their best to keep her alive and when we went to feed her and dress a wound on her, she showed a lot of spunk and surprising strength in trying to get away. So we have hope: she has a strong little spirit and wants to live!
Thanks for all your help, prayers and love. Here are some pictures of the medics, treatment and baby horse. May God bless all of you in Jesus name,
Dave, family and all of FBR
