Four Rangers Baptized
4 January, 2021
Karen State, Burma
“I heard the gospel presented during devotions at FBR Ranger training and knew it was the right way. I wanted to follow Jesus and get baptized.”
This year during FBR ranger training four rangers were baptized. We write this report to celebrate them and ask you to pray for these young men. FBR is open to and comprised of people of different religions or no religion; and we thank God for that freedom, to believe or not believe as each one chooses. We are grateful that God sent his son Jesus to draw us close to him with love and that these four men have heard this call and answered it.
Saw Pah Lu, age 26, has been a ranger for four years and decided to get baptized because he has followed Jesus for many years and wanted to get baptized before he got married. We also join him in celebrating his marriage.
Min Htet Oo, age 22, from Nyaunglebin District, is currently attending JSMK and wanted to give his life to Christ. He wanted to get baptized because he wanted to show that he is dedicated to God’s way, not other ways that pull at him.
Aung Kyaw Thu Lin, age 23, is an Advanced Ranger from Thaton District. He said, “I want to belong to God. I wanted a new life in God.” He came from a split family, where his father is Buddhist and his mother is Christian, but decided he wanted his life to belong to God.
Saw Sai Nay, age 23, is also an Advanced Ranger from Thaton District. He said he heard the gospel message presented during morning devotions during FBR Ranger training and knew it was the right way. He got baptized because he wants to follow Jesus and give his life to Jesus.
Thank you for praying for us and being in this mission with us and for helping us love God and each other more.
God bless you,
Free Burma Rangers
