Rangers provided medical treatment and rice to hundreds of IDPs in hide sites near Noh Chu Neh Village in Dooplaya District after the IDPs fled the battle over Annan Kwin camp. There are 3,200 total IDPs in these hide sites and more food and medicine are needed to be able to assist them. An 80-year-old grandmother emphasized to the teams the dire need of the camps and that they had difficulty finding food.

Please pray that these IDPs would have food and security and that the Burma military would withdraw their forces at Annan Kwin camp so they can return home.

Ranger teams visited three IDP camps, performing Good Life Clubs and providing medicine while also conducting first aid and navigation training for KNDF soldiers.

In Karenni State, Ranger teams conducted a GLC program for 250 IDPs at Tar Phu Dee Ku and Hpruso IDP camps in Loikaw District. They performed skits, taught health and anatomy classes, delivered shirts and medicine, and encouraged the IDPs with a lesson about God’s love for the world. Additionally, the Rangers provided training to KNDF soldiers on first aid classes, map reading, and area security. These trainings help build capacity for the KNDF to be able to support their people and help defend themselves against Burma military attacks in Karenni.

In Southern Shan State, Rangers provided medicine and oral hydration salts to 589 IDPs in Sat Taw Village, Pekon Township. These IDPs had fled from Bo Chal, Kone Sone, Ban Mout and Ka Thee villages after fighting between the Burma military and resistance forces.

Please pray for the IDPs that continue to struggle to find food and medicine and that they would be protected from Burma military attacks.
